Irish Nationalism commonly refers to a republican, socialist and trade-unionist led movement against British colonial domination. In this case, it makes an unusual bridge to horseshoe neo-feudalism. There are a few characters of this variety that have cropped up on YouTube to offer a critique of capitalism from the traditionalist right. For me, the most interesting aspect here is a recurrent theme of a two tiered society regarding class and access to technology. Feudal peasants till the land alongside hi-tech geothermal and nuclear powerplants in an authoritarian and dystopian future.

I’m an Irish nationalist

Who are your biggest influences?

[James] Connolly. I also take inspiration from the myths and legends of Ireland, and from writings about ancient Irish culture and politics.

When did you first learn about or start visiting online political communities?

I started a political account a little under two years ago because I found memes about communism really funny.
